Drone Gamma
Gamma-ray spectrometry is an essential geophysical tool for the near-surface geochemical characterization of terrains, based on measuring the natural radiation emitted by key radioelements present in rocks and soils—Potassium (K), Thorium (Th), and Uranium (U).
Through spectral analysis of these elements, it is possible to identify lithological contrasts, hydrothermal alteration zones, weathering patterns, and geochemical signatures relevant to mineral exploration programs, geological mapping, and environmental studies.
With the integration of UAV (drone) technology into radiometric surveys, the Avant group has significantly enhanced data acquisition standards in terms of resolution, operational efficiency, and control. Drone-based operations provide greater logistical flexibility, reduced operational risk, adaptability to diverse terrains, and the ability to acquire high-density survey grids—delivering superior detail compared to conventional methods.
